Tonight is the opening of DCist’s third annual juried photography show DCist Exposed. The exhibition showcases new talent as the artists reveal the city through the eyes of the people who live and work in the D.C. area. The show is community-based and works are affordably priced to develop the next generation of arts patrons.
I will be at the opening reception tonight at Flashpoint Gallery. You should definitely stop by, as this is going to be a great show. You can preview all of the winners before hand over at DCist.
DCist Exposed runs from February 20 through March 7, 2009. The opening reception is tonight from 5-9pm. The gallery is located at 916 G Street, NW and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 12 to 6 p.m. or by appointment.
